My clients have been loving their meal plans lately and I want to share why this is.
✨ They save time. The meal plans I provide come with a shopping list prepared for you. Just cross off what you already have & you’re ready to go.
✨ They alleviate decision fatigue. Your meals are laid out for you, no need to think about what to eat. I’ve done all the thinking for you.
✨ They stretch your comfort zone. My clients have been trying meals they wouldn’t normally cook and cuisines they wouldn’t normally gravitate towards. This helps them branch out from their go-to meals and find new recipes they love.
✨ They spark new, healthy habits. Being organised is the key to staying on track. Following a meal plan can be an easy way for you to become an organised person.
✨ They incorporate my recommendations from your treatment plan. I make it easy to follow my advice by including it in your custom meal plan. For example, if I’ve suggested to increase your intake of fibre, you’ll see that reflected in the recipes.
✨ They reduce food waste. Most people buy more food than they need and it results in loads of food wastage by the end of the week. Stick to the plan and you’ll get into the habit of using everything you’ve purchased.
✨ They are custom-made for you. They take into account your personal likes, dislikes, allergies, intolerances, kitchen equipment and cooking habits. My job is to make it as easy and enjoyable as possible to eat healthy food and to do that, my meal plans need to work for you as an individual. There is no ‘one size fits all’.
Meal plans aren’t for everyone though. They are purely a tool to help you reach your goals. Some people prefer me to provide just the recipes so they can mix and match as they please. Some people also prefer this less structured approach to their week. If you’ve had a past history of disordered eating or orthorexia, then a less structured way of eating may be best for you.
