I’ve been working on my first ebook, The Plant-Based Kitchen, and I want to give you a sneak peak of what’s to come. Sign up to email updates below to be the first to know when the ebook is released as well as a discount on the launch price.
The Plant-Based Kitchen is the guide I wish I had years ago when I began experimenting with food and researching how to add more plant-based foods into my diet. I wanted to live a healthier life but the more I read about what I ‘should’ be doing, the more confused I was. There is so much information out there and I know how hard it can be to work out where to begin and what to focus on.
I believe in a back-to-basics approach when introducing diet and lifestyle changes. It’s about introducing change to create a lifestyle that works for you. It needs to be sustainable and part of that is to ensure it’s enjoyable.
This guide outlines my 6-steps to transforming your health, starting with your kitchen.
Step 1: Out with the old
This step is all about clearing out your pantry, fridge and freezer to make room for all of the nutritious and delicious food to come. Here you’ll also find my guide to reading food labels and I’ll share the ingredients I avoid.
Step 2: In with the new
I take you through all of the ingredients I consider essential in my kitchen. You’ll also find my plant-based alternatives and healthy food swaps.
Step 3: Shop like a boss
This step is packed with resources. You’ll find my guide to grocery shopping including a printable shopping list, the shopping accessories I use, where to shop, the low-down on food delivery and an Australian seasonal produce guide.
Step 4: Use the right equipment
A list of the kitchen equipment that I couldn’t live without as well as how to best store your food in your kitchen for the longest lasting freshness.
Step 5: Stay on track
A guide to meal prepping and batch cooking. I’ve included a weekly menu planning template.
Step 6: Cook up a storm
This one is definitely my most favourite of all of the steps. Here you will find my recipes to kitchen staples as well as 50+ of my favourite recipes. All plant-based and simple.
